Goalkeeper – Mateusz Hewelt (19) – Everton 

Polish stopper Hewelt made a string of outstanding saves during Everton’s 2 – 0 win against Southampton at St. Marys’ managing to keep an impressive clean sheet.

Right Back – Tyler Reid (18) – Man United

Tyler Reid came off the bench to score Man United’s winner against U21 Premier League Division One leaders Sunderland and secure an important win for the Red Devils.

Centre Back – Pierce Sweeney (21) – Reading

Reading U21 captain Pierce Sweeney was in outstanding form during his side’s 2 – 0 home win against Norwich, providing a stable influence for his team.

Centre Back – Mason Holgate (19) – Everton

Although Southampton had several chances against Everton, which suggests a poor performance from their defence, Mason Holgate looked extremely calm and composed under pressure and impressed.

Left Back – Mark Kitching (20) – Middlesbrough

Highly rated full back Mark Kitching was again in impressive form during his teams 4 – 0 win over Leicester City, even getting on the score-sheet, and there are expectations that Kitching will soon break into the first team.

Right Midfield – Harry Chapman (17) – Middlesbrough

Harry Chapman was the instigator behind ‘Boro’s win over Leicester, scoring once and assisting a further two goals in a truly destructive performance from the wing.

Centre Midfield – Jordan Evans (20) – Fulham

Jordan Evans has helped guide Fulham to two straight wins this week, including scoring a stunning free-kick against West Ham, and topped it off with a call up to the Wales U21 team.

Centre Midfield – Ivan Calero (20) – Derby

Former Atletico Madrid midfielder Ivan Calero played an integral role in Derby’s entrahlling 6 – 4 win over Newcastle United, scoring twice and being a creative threat throughout.

Left Midfield – Bersant Celina (19) – Man City

Norway U21 international Celina scored a stunning free-kick in Man City’s 2 – 0 win over Chelsea at the Recreational Ground last week.

Striker – Offrande Zanzala (17) – Derby

Offrande Zanzala absolutely terrorised the Newcastle defence and scored twice in the 10 goal thriller which highlighted the talent of the 17-year-old.

Striker – Shayon Harrison (18) – Spurs

Spurs’ U21 side added to Chelsea’s problems with a 3 – 1 away win which was emphasised by the outstanding performance of the lethal Shayon Harrison who bagged two goals courtesy of his vicious left foot.
