Puma and Mario Balotelli have launched the new evoPOWER 1.2 football boots. The boots are inspired by modern ‘pop art’, a movement that originally started in Great Britain in the 1950’s which has led to highly influence modern day art culture.
Aimed to be eye-catching, international football icons such as Oliver Giroud, Yaya Touré and Puma’s very own global brand ambassadors, Cesc Fabregas and Mario Balotelli, will be sporting the standout boots from October 2015. The distinctively designed boots are very unconventional however you cannot help but admire the creativity and inspiration behind it see page. The official name for this colour-way is ‘White, Orange Clown Fish, Lemonade, Electric Blue’, with words such as “POW!” graphically lettered along the inner side of the boots and “BAM!” written in an explosion on the heel.
The new boots have all of the same improvements as the previous evoPOWER 1.2. This includes a one-way, stretchable Adap-Lite upper, which is designed to flex with the natural motion of your foot, emulating a barefoot feeling. Also, a Grip-Tex upper near the toe area of the boot to enhance ball control in both wet and dry conditions, which is ideal as the winter months are approaching. There is also an AccuFoam lining around the outer sides of the boot; delivering a flatter, smoother kicking surface for improved accuracy. Lastly, a Gradual Stability Frame, which is a flexible spine that runs down the middle of the outsole, which imitates the barefoot kicking motion of the bone structure in your foot. Its purpose is to support your foot in all of the right places, at the right times.
The new Puma evoPOWER 1.2 POP boots are available now to purchase from selected retailers at £150. Be sure to get your pair and stand out on the pitch too.
