Merry Christmas from all at Young Pro

Young Pro End of Year Round Up

Welcome to the first ever Young Pro Newsletter. We’ll be delivering regular news and updates from Young Pro straight to your inbox. We’ve had an amazing year and here we look back and present to you some of our best moments.

In July 2015 we officially launched Young Pro Mag at our launch event which was celebrated with over 250 people at Arsenal Football Club, The Emirates Stadium. The event was hosted by Sky Sports News Presenter Tom White and explored the issues and support needed to help young players as well as addressed the habits needed to develop them into professionals. Performances included Violinist Daj Jordan,  Adam and Griffin Freestyle Footballers and other special guests and footballers such as Damien Francis. We revealed an exclusive preview of our brand new Better Habits Better Players campaign which focuses on the need for a healthier lifestyle and improved nutrition, with the support of young professional footballers. After a successful evening it was clear we built a strong momentum towards the support of developing promising futures for Young Pro’s.

Young Pro Mag had some very exciting news in June. Just before our official launch we managed to secure Harry Redknapp as our Patron. Harry took great interest in our ethos and we are extremely honoured to have such a successful football figure on board with his impressive industry knowledge. Subscribe and tune into Young Pro TV to hear Harry’s opinion’s on youth football player’s in our Harry Rant’s series.

Better Habits Better Players is our newly produced programme that aims to develop improved life skills by building better, healthier habits. This includes promoting better nutrition and lifestyles, through programmes delivered in schools and through our first ever Youth Futsal League which will launch next year. The aim of Better Habits Better Players is to help young people start their day in a positive way and finish it feeling strong too. We hope that Better Habits Better Players will offer the opportunity for the youth of today to become higher achievers in school and of course in society. This year has been more than exciting for Young Pro Mag. We have attended many events and even created some of our own too. We were privileged enough to be personally invited to cover the FA Youth Cup Final, where Chelsea took victory over Manchester City. We received an Award from UnLtd the charity of Social Entrepreneurs to enabling us to carry out our Better Habits Better Players campaign. We also attended SoccerX and Orient V Men, both fantastic football events. Successfully we also hosted our own ‘Under 17’s World Cup’ on social media and were the only UK media outlet to provide daily coverage of the event. We now have over 4,000 Twitter followers and reach out to young and professional footballers worldwide. This year we have attended so many fantastic events and achieved so many great things, we can’t wait to see what exciting opportunities arise for us next year too.
